The Eader House transformation from a private home to wedding venue is one that has been done with a great deal of planning and care. We want to honor the legacy of Jonathan and Catharine Eader and all who served in this home while offering our couples the modern amenities. Our hearts behind weddings here at The Eader House is to provide a beautiful space that couples can add their own style/theme to as they begin their own legacy.

SCHEDULE A TOUR

Bridal Suite

The bridal suites take over the whole second floor of the house. This allows our brides and their bridesmaids the luxury of having a very private and beautiful space to get ready in. They have access to the walk-out balcony. There are fully stocked coffee and mimosa bars in the suite as well as a full bathroom and getting ready areas.

Grooms Suite (a.k.a. The Pretty Boy Floyd Suite)

We have learned that the infamous bank robber Charles Arthur Floyd (known better as Pretty Boy Floyd) once stayed at the Eader House while on the run. He was also known to share his stollen loot with those in need, which also earned him the reference of being the Robin Hood of his time. Therefore, we named the grooms suite after him to remember that bit of history within these walls. Our large grooms suite offers the men a space to relax, a full bathroom, kitchenette to keep food and drinks. They are also able watch their favorite teams play on TV while giving them the high end atmosphere that every man deserves as they get ready for the day.

Formal Living Room

This stunning room is complete with original crown molding and original hardwood floors. The neutral pallet of the walls and decor offer this space as a perfect backdrop to any photo shoot, sitting room, intimate dinner for the bride and groom, cake display/cutting and so much more.

Formal Dining Room)

This amazing space has an original butlers pantry and fireplace. It is an ideal location to serve food, have the cake displayed, or private dining for the bride and groom. It also leads into an informal dining room, which allows for bigger set-ups.

The Tent

The house sits on about two acres, which is plenty of space for us to provide a beautiful tent with concrete floors which gives a covered space option for your wedding day. This brand new tent can hold up to 250-300 guests comfortably. We also have sides to the tent, so on a blustery day, you will be protected from elements . The tent is to the right of the house, set back enough for privacy and to keep from interfering with any ceremony or set up in the front of the house.

Cocktail Hour

 We love both options for cocktail hour. They are actually on either side of the house. One is a bit more private around the left back side of the house which offers more room for a bigger party. The patio to the right is a wonderful space for an intimate party or waiting area as guest wait to enter the tent.

Reception or/Party Spaces

We have two main areas for your rehearsal or party space. If you would like it to be open aired, we have a beautifully maintained lawn with privacy hedges around the whole area to keep it very intimate. 

 If you are looking to have your reception under a covered structure, our brand new 40x60 tent is the perfect solution. Both spaces offer the ability for our couples to come in and make the space their own with their own design style.
